Recycling Assembly
Last week, our Year 5 and 6 Change Champions led an assembly all about the importance of recycling. At Gossops Green our children know that change starts with small steps and willing attitudes and so from next week the Change Champions are leading the introduction of food-waste-only caddies at break-times. The week after we will start to recycle ALL food waste at lunch time too.
We are working to support Crawley Council who will collect the food waste each week and recycle it in a sustainable way.
Our children learn that it is all our responsibility to care for and protect our planet, its precious habitats and animals and if we want to make a difference, we have to take action.
We’re so proud that our children are modelling how to be global citizens!
