Family Learning


With the world, and education constantly changing and evolving, it can be difficult for parents and carers to keep up to date with the newest ideas and techniques so we have created a series of ‘Family Learning’ Events which run during the school day and allow parents and carers to come into school and learn alongside their children.

Past Events

Early Maths 



EYFS parents and carers came in school to discover some of the ways that their children are learning maths, so that they can better help them at home

Early Reading



Reception children joined their parents in the large hall following a presentation on tips for how to hear your child read.

KS1 Reading



Year 1 and Year 2 parents were given a presentation on how to fully support their child with reading at home. Their children then joined them so that they could put some of their new skills into action. 

Thought-Full



Our colleagues at Thought-Full came into school to help parents support their children who were struggling with anxiety.
