Year 1 Science Work

As part of their topic work this term, Plant It, Grow It, Eat It, Year 1 had a Science Day. They were exploring plants and how things grow. The children took part in a range of workshops to support their scientific knowledge of planting and growing.

Robins in the outside area

Year 1 have been lucky enough to observe a robin build its nest and lay its eggs in their Outdoor Classroom. Last week, the eggs hatched. The children have been observing them grow in their nest. They have been very excited and wanted to share this with their parents.
