As part of their topic work this term, Plant It, Grow It, Eat It, Year 1 had a Science Day. They were exploring plants and how things grow. The children took part in a range of workshops to support their scientific knowledge of planting and growing.
Year 1 have been lucky enough to observe a robin build its nest and lay its eggs in their Outdoor Classroom. Last week, the eggs hatched. The children have been observing them grow in their nest. They have been very excited and wanted to share this with their parents.

Our minibus got it’s first official drive on Thursday as it took children from Morpurgo class to K2 for their swimming session. It was so lovely to see it in use following it’s hibernation due to COVID restrictions!
Today, Year 2 visited the ‘beach’ and completed a range of beach themed activities. 🍦🏖 The children enjoyed finding treasure in the sand pit, creating and watching puppet shows, exploring the rock pool and buying an ice lolly.
