Year 4 Saxon Day

Year 4 have had the most wonderful day journeying back to Anglo-Saxon times. They have played an Anglo-Saxon game, handled artefacts and armour, learnt battle cries and formations, acted out the Battle of Hastings and heard a dramatic retelling of Beowulf.

Year 2 Beach Day

Year 2 have enjoyed a lovely, sunny day at Littlehampton Beach! We visited the RNLI Lifeboat Station and met some of their volunteers and strolled along the promenade admiring the boats in the harbour and identifying human and physical features. After lunch, we built sandcastles and even dipped our toes in the cool, refreshing water!

Year 3 Greek Day

Year 3 had a fantastic Greek experience with a visit from the rainbow Theatre where the children acted out Ancient Greek Myths and began to understand what life was like at the time. They also tasted authentic Greek food including feta and olives and had a go at Greek Zorba dancing.

Easter Bonnet Parade

Thank you so much to everyone who worked so hard on the Easter Bonnets; they really brightened up our last day of term. Sadly, the weather meant that the outdoor parade couldn’t take place but we certainly enjoyed parading them in school and we hope that families enjoy watching the videos.
