On Thursday, we had the honour of an Olympic athlete, James Dasaolu, visit our school.  He gave inspiring assemblies and Q&A sessions to pupils from Year 2-6, which build upon our school values, particularly of showing resilience.  He also visited Year 1 to share his Gold Medals.  All children took part in physical circuits to develop their strength and stamina: Y2-6 with James and EYFS and Y1 with Mrs Dixon and Mr Wood who arranged a fun sports event for the pupils.  Thank you to everyone who donated – the money raised for the school will be spent on new sports equipment.
