Year 2 Mental Health Week
As part of ‘Dress to Express Day’ and Children’s Mental Health Week, Year 2 children have been exploring the idea of growing together. Today they did mindfulness activities related to the book ‘Invisible’ by Tom Percival, created past and future growth maps, drew personal self-portraits about their interests, as well as considering the physical concept of growth by planting cress seeds and composing art that depicts the growth of a seed over time.
